Située 20 km au nord de Montpellier, 3 km est de St-Martin-de-Londres, au nord-ouest et face au Pic-St-Loup, la falaise de l'Hortus est une très belle et raide paroi calcaire au rocher généralement bon. 60 voies, 90-130 m, équipement minimum récent, coinceurs et sangles nécessaires en complément, 5b-7a. Orientation sud, moyennement abritée du vent.
Located 20 km north of Montpellier, 3 km east of St-Martin-de-Londres, north-west and facing the Pic-St-Loup, Hortus crag is a beautiful steep limestone crag whose rock is good in general. 60 routes, 90-130 m. Minimum but up-to-date equipement in place, nuts and slings are necessary as a complement, 5b-7a. Facing south, but not perfectly protected from strong north winds (Tramontane or Mistral).
La D1 (St-Mathieu-de-Tréviers -- N.-D.-de-Londres) passe au col de Fambétou, entre l'Hortus et le Pic-St-Loup. À 1 km à l'est du col de Fambétou, suivre une route coupe-feu sur 1 km puis prendre un sentier vers la G.
Road D1 (St-Mathieu-de-Tréviers -- N.-D.-de-Londres) crosses Col de Fambétou, a pass between Hortus and Pic-St-Loup. 1 km east of Col de Fambétou, follow a fire protection dirt road for 1 km, then take a footpath on the left.
